The comprehensive analysis of clinical data allows us to measure the real impact of advanced sperm selection interventions. When directly comparing the effectiveness of the HA-ICSI technique with that of conventional ICSI, scientific evidence reveals a picture with important nuances:
- Impact on pregnancy loss: researchers have confirmed that isolating sperm using hyaluronic acid significantly reduces the risk of miscarriage.
- Impact on live birth rate: it does not translate into a proportional increase in births. Current evidence indicates that the improvement in the live birth rate through HA-ICSI is minimal or negligible compared to the classic technique.
In short, although the hyaluronic acid strategy provides great clinical value in protecting early pregnancy, its ability to increase the overall probability of success is limited. These results underscore the need for research to continue exploring the potential of other technological innovations available in the laboratory.
