Hysterosalpingography is a diagnostic imaging test that uses a radiopaque contrast medium and an X-ray machine to evaluate the anatomy of the cervix, uterus and fallopian tubes.
Its main advantages are that it provides very relevant information to evaluate female fertility, it is hardly invasive and, in addition, it can unclog the tubes if they are obstructed.
