When a uterine curettage is performed, the woman will have bleeding. However, this bleeding does not correspond to menstruation. Most commonly, the first menstrual period after curettage occurs about 30-40 days after the procedure.
However, every woman is different and there may be slight variations. In any case, the general recommendation is to wait at least 2-3 months after curettage to try to conceive again.
