Uterine curettage is a fairly simple and quick gynecological intervention. Even so, it is possible that a curettage may result in some complications such as the following:
- Damage to the uterus such as perforations.
- Uterine synechiae or Asherman's syndrome.
- Infections in the uterus.
- Hemorrhage.
However, the psychological state of the patient must also be taken into account, especially in the case of performing curettage for a miscarriage.
