Difference between normal uterus and uterine prolapse

Uterine displacement is common in women who have had one or more vaginal deliveries. It is the term used to describe uteruses that sag into the vagina resulting from a weakening of the pelvic floor muscles.

Uterine prolapse can occur at any age, but is more likely in women who have reached menopause.
