As in any other condition, uterine prolapse is aggravated by certain situations. Vaginal childbirth, menopause, obesity, prolonged constipation or lifting heavy objects can be risk factors for prolapse, for example.
It is therefore essential to prevent any additional risk at all times. Specialists recommend doing pelvic floor exercises and leading a healthy lifestyle, rich in fiber to avoid constipation.
