Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKHS), also known as Müllerian agenesis, is a female congenital malformation characterized by the absence of uterus, fallopian tubes and vagina.
These women, however, do have functional ovaries and, therefore, reach sexual maturity and ovulate. It is at this time that Rokitansky syndrome is diagnosed, as the woman reaches puberty but never menstruates.
