What are the risk factors for amenorrhea?

The absence of menstruation, also known as amenorrhea, is a menstrual disorder that can be caused by genetic disorders, pregnancy or breastfeeding among other causes.

However, there are also some factors that increase the risk of amenorrhea in women. This is the case of family history, eating disorders and high performance physical exercise.
