Artificial insemination by conjugal insemination (AI) is one of the recommended options when the presence of antisperm antibodies (ASA) is suspected. The presence of such antibodies can cause:
- Problems in sperm motility.
- Difficulty for sperm to penetrate the cervical mucus.
- Impaired interaction between sperm and egg for fertilisation.
