Exercise during ovarian stimulation

During the ovarian stimulation of an assisted reproduction treatment, the woman can do sport, but adapting and limiting the intensity.

The reason is that the risk of ovarian torsion is increased, due to the increase in size of the ovaries. Therefore, women can do light sports, with little effort and impact, such as walking at a good pace. However, exercises that require great effort, impact or contact should be avoided.

However, it is best to consult with the specialist who is carrying out the treatment, in case there are any contraindications.
