Once the Cetrotide solution has been prepared, the injection must be carried out immediately in order to prevent the active ingredient from no longer being dissolved.
To do this, it is first necessary to change the preparation needle (yellow) with the injection needle (grey). Then push the plunger a little bit to remove all the air until a drop appears at the tip of the needle.
To make the injection, the patient must pinch the skin in the abdominal area with one hand and, with the other hand, inject the needle into the skin and press the plunger gently so that all the liquid comes out.
