The active ingredient of Cetrotide is cetrorelix acetate and is a drug used in the ovarian stimulation phase of assisted reproduction treatments. However, this drug cannot be used in all situations.
Some of the situations in which the use of Cetrotide is contraindicated are pregnancy, breastfeeding, postmenopause or if the woman is predisposed to develop allergies with drugs similar to this one.
