Cetrotide is usually administered after a few days of gonadotropins. Cetrotide is most commonly administered around day 5-6 of ovarian stimulation and continues until the day of the ovarian puncture.
During these days, the ovarian follicles are increasing in size and, therefore, Cetrotide is applied to prevent excessive follicular growth.
