Stucture of the blastocyst

The blastocyst is the embryonic stage needed for implantation to occur. At this moment the embryo has an internal cavity, the blastocele, an internal cellular mass, which will originate the organs of the future baby, and the trophoblast, which is the structure of cells that will give rise to the placenta.
