Ovodonation as an alternative for women with severe endometriosis

Some studies conclude that women with endometriosis have poorer quality eggs and embryos. Therefore, women with severe endometriosis and/or who have previously undergone several unsuccessful in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles will have to resort to oocyte donation if they want to become mothers.

This fertility treatment is more expensive than IVF with one's own eggs and also has the disadvantage of giving up the genetic load. However, IVF with donated eggs has better success rates.
