Endometriosis is one of the most well-known causes of female infertility, although having this uterine disorder does not necessarily mean that a woman is infertile.
Around 30-50% of women diagnosed with endometriosis have fertility problems, either due to low ovarian reserve or damage to the fallopian tubes. In these cases, assisted reproduction techniques are recommended to achieve pregnancy.
