When women have ovarian or endocrine disorders, they may have difficulty in achieving pregnancy. Some of the possible treatments in these cases are:
- Using a clomiphene citrate drug such as, for example, omifin to induce ovulation. This drug is usually recommended in cases of timed intercourse.
- Administer progesterone if the woman has insufficient luteal phase.
- Resorting to assisted reproductive techniques such as artificial insemination (AI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
- Ovodonation.
