Female sterility due to uterine factor

The uterine factor refers to problems related to the woman's uterus that affect her fertility and prevent her from becoming pregnant.

Among the uterine alterations are Müllerian malformations, due to defects in embryonic development during the first or second trimester of pregnancy. Girls are born with one of these uterine malformations, which will cause infertility. However, these pathologies may not be detected until puberty or adulthood.
