Female fertility is almost fully dependent on age.
The peak reproductive years occur in the period from puberty to the ages of 30-35 approximately. From that moment on, and especially from age 40, a woman's fertility keeps on decreasing progressively up until the end of her reproductive lifespan: the menopausal period.
