Some women do not notice that they are infertile until they are trying to conceive. However, other women may suspect that there is a problem because they have irregular periods or amenorrhoea, i.e. no menstruation.
Another symptom associated with female infertility is painful and heavy periods. However, these symptoms are not exclusive to fertility problems in women. In any case, it is best to consult a specialist.
