In vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment consists of the following steps from beginning to end:
- Controlled ovarian stimulation in the woman.
- Follicular puncture.
- Collection and preparation of the male sperm.
- Egg fertilization with the spermatozoa.
- Embryo culture.
- Embryo transfer to the mother's uterus.
