Hello there, how are you? My case is as follows: I had an IVF two embryo transfer and today I’m 6 weeks pregnant. Everything is fine by the moment but yesterday I had a red bleeding and today it continues. I did a pregnancy test and the result continues being positive. After my first ultrasound scan, doctor said I’ve got two sacs, but one of them without yolk sac. Can you tell me what is going on, what is the cause of this bleeding? Do you think I’ve lost one of my embryos? On Monday I’ve another appointment with my gynecologist for my second ultrasound scan.
04/17/2016 at 2:09 pmDear Mindy,
Having some slight bleeding during the first weeks of pregnancy is a normal symptom, but only if it’s not an active bleeding or if it’s a slight bleeding. If, conversely, it’s an abundant bleeding, there’s risk of miscarrying, in which case my advice is that you notify this to your doctor and go have it checked ASAP.
I hope I have been able to help,
Regards
