Can you donate one embryo at a time or whatever you have left?

Hello people! Had anyone done embryo adoption? Just wondering because I wanna start finding out what is available here in North Dakota. I also wanted to know what is like “customary” in terms of how many embryos you donate… I mean, can you donate a single embryo at a time and then when they have a baby donate the rest or do you have to donate whatever you have left??? Just asking, no idea.

  2. Dear Julia,

usually, when a couple has spare embryos and decide to donate them, the embryos are frozen and it is the agency or clinic which donates them to a receiving couple. If such couple uses a single embryo and IVF works at the first attempt, the remaining embryos will be donated to other couples as needed.

I hope I have been able to help,

    Regards
