Is it normal to be 3 days late on period?

I am 3 days late, I have symptoms of pregnancy. But I have also tested on pregnancy tests about a 4-5 days ago and they came back negative?

If you’re 3 days late now and you tested for pregnancy 4-5 days ago, perhaps it was too early to test for pregnancy and hCG levels were not high enough as to be detectable in case you’re pregnant. Repeat the test within 6-8 days to confirm if you’re pregnant or not.
