Pregnant women who develop gestational diabetes should pay attention to their diet. Saccharin would not be recommended in women with gestational diabetes and it would be better to use aspartame and acesulfame K. In addition, it is important to reduce salt intake and control carbohydrate-rich foods.
Fried and battered foods are also not recommended during pregnancy.
