Once the candidate has been accepted into the sperm donor program, the entire process will begin. The donor will be required to maintain a period of 3-5 days of sexual abstinence prior to each visit to the clinic for the donation.
The sample will be collected in a sterile container provided by the center. Subsequently, this canister will be sent to the laboratory to be capacitated and frozen in liquid nitrogen. Here it will remain for a minimum of 6 months until the sample can be used.
