Sperm donation is an altruistic, voluntary and solidary act according to the current legislation in Spain.
Those men who wish to donate their sperm to others to help fulfill their dream of achieving a pregnancy must pass a series of criteria and medical tests.
All sperm donor candidates must be of legal age, physically and psychologically healthy, free of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and free of genetic diseases. In addition, sperm donor candidates must not have more than 6 children in order to avoid consanguinity problems.
