For women with a family history of haemophilia, different prenatal tests are available for the early diagnosis of haemophilia.
There are non-invasive prenatal diagnostic options such as fetal DNA testing in maternal blood. In addition, there are invasive prenatal diagnostic tests such as chorionic villus sampling or amniocentesis. Each of these diagnostic tests can be performed at a specific time during pregnancy.
