Different uterine malformations

The uterus is fundamental for a pregnancy to occur. Any uterine anomaly can cause infertility in women. Some of these are:

  • Agenesis or total absence of the uterus.
  • Unicornuate uterus, that is, it has only one Müllerian duct.
  • Uterus didelphys or double uterus.
  • Bicornuate uterus during the fusion of the Müllerian ducts.
  • Septate uterus by a central septum.
