Diabetes as a pre testicular factor of male infertility

Male infertility may be due to endocrinological causes that make the concentration of gonadotropin hormones insufficient for sperm formation.

Specifically, diabetes is an endocrine disease characterized by high blood sugar levels. High concentrations of sugar lead to testicular damage. As a result, the patient may have a decrease in semen quality and quantity, which will lead to male fertility problems.
