The endometrial microbiome can affect embryo implantation. This is why there are tests that analyze whether the endometrial flora is favorable for embryo implantation to occur.
The test result provides information about the most abundant bacteria in the endometrium, as well as whether any treatment is needed to correct imbalances in the endometrial flora.
