The correct state of the endometrium is a key factor for embryo implantation to take place. For this reason, in assisted reproduction techniques, the endometrium is monitored by transvaginal ultrasound. Ideally, for implantation, the endometrium should have a trilaminar aspect and a thickness of approximately 8 mm.
