It is common for pregnant women to notice an increase in vaginal discharge and wonder if this is normal or not. However, it is normal for a woman to have more vaginal discharge during pregnancy.
The reason for the increase in vaginal secretions during pregnancy is hormonal changes and the increased blood supply to the vaginal area.
However, it should be noted that other changes in vaginal discharge are not normal, such as variations in color, odor or appearance. These changes may indicate an infection, so a gynecologist should be consulted as soon as possible.
