During pregnancy, it is common for the amount of vaginal discharge to increase normally. This discharge should be clear (or whitish), viscous and odorless or with a slight odor. In addition, the amount may increase as the pregnancy progresses.
On the other hand, if there is any change in these characteristics of the vaginal discharge, a gynecologist should be consulted because it could be indicative of an infection.
