ICSI and male infertility

Although IVF-ICSI is increasingly used in assisted reproduction clinics compared to conventional IVF, there are clear indications for recommending this fertilization technique.

Mainly, these are fertility problems due to severe male factor. However, there are also other indications for ICSI. This is the case for men with anejaculation or retrograde ejaculation, patients with infectious diseases such as HIV or hepatitis and men who have previously frozen their sperm for some reason.
