Alcohol consumption is a highly damaging habit for both male and female fertility. For example, a continued intake of alcohol can cause menstrual irregularities, problems with ovulation, or a substantial decrease of sperm quality.
Moreover, alcohol can potentially damage an unborn fetus, and lead to miscarriage. For all these reasons, it is imperative to avoid this extremely toxic habit before and during pregnancy.
