The study of the karyotype is one of the tests that are usually requested in the analysis of fertility, since it allows us to know if the patients present any anomaly at a structural or numerical level in their chromosomes.
Among the most frequent chromosomal alterations affecting the number of chromosomes are:
Klinefelter's syndrome.
Turner syndrome.
Down syndrome.
Patau syndrome.
Edwards syndrome.
