During pregnancy, it is important for women to take extreme hygienic measures when preparing food in order to avoid infections such as listeriosis. Some of these measures are as follows:
- Cook meat at very high temperatures, so that it is not raw in the middle.
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after handling food.
- Keep the fridge at 4℃ and the freezer at -18℃ or less.
