When a woman with low ovarian response has already had several cycles of in vitro fertilization (IVF) that have been canceled, she has the option of resorting to IVF with donated eggs. This is an alternative that offers high success rates.
However, egg donation also means that the woman must give up contributing her genetic material to her offspring. In addition, the cost of egg donation is also high compared to other assisted reproduction techniques such as IVF.
