Obstructive azoospermia is the absence of sperm in the ejaculate due to an obstruction in the seminal ducts. However, men with this type of azoospermia still produce sperm normally.
Therefore, some of the possible causes of obstructive azoospermia are vasectomy, congenital alterations such as cryptorchidism, mumps or other similar diseases, and inflammations, cysts and trauma to the testicles.
