The hormonal values and testicular size of patients diagnosed with obstructive azoospermia are normal. Therefore, the best way to confirm the diagnosis obtained with the seminogram and to see if it is really an obstructive azoospermia is to perform a testicular biopsy. If any spermatozoa are obtained directly from the testicle, it will indicate that spermatogenesis is correct.
In addition, a delicate palpation of the testicular area by the specialist will allow him to intuit if there is sperm production.
