A woman's age is the main cause of the decrease in ovarian reserve. As women age, the quantity of eggs available is reduced, but also their quality. For this reason, older women may have problems when trying to conceive.
However, there are also some factors that accelerate this decrease in ovarian reserve. This is the case of oncological treatments, obesity, some pathologies such as endometriosis and an inadequate lifestyle.
