Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) can be treated and its clinical signs improved by following healthier lifestyle habits and a balanced diet. If the patient has obesity, she will be recommended losing weight to reduce the symptoms of PCOS.
Contraceptives and antidiabetic drugs (e.g. metformin) can be helpful as well.
