Treatment for Ectopic Pregnancy

An ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy in which the embryo is implanted outside of the uterine cavity. In the many places where the ectopic pregnancy may have taken place the fallopian tubes are the most frequent place.

For the treatment of the ectopic pregnancy, there can be a wait to see if the pregnancy resolves on its own, there can be a medical or even a surgical treatment (salpingotomy).
