Hysterosalpingography is a gynecological test that consists of introducing a contrast liquid to visualize the uterine cavity and evaluate the patency of the fallopian tubes. Thus, thanks to hysterosalpingography, it is possible to detect if there is any tubal obstruction. In this case, the contrast liquid will not be able to pass through the tube and therefore will not be seen on the radiological image.
