Chorionic villus sampling or chorionic villus biopsy is an invasive prenatal test that involves collecting cells from the placenta for analysis. This test is recommended to be performed between the 10th and 14th week of pregnancy.
Thanks to chorionic villus biopsy, some 200 fetal pathologies are ruled out.
