There are many reasons why a couple may have difficulty conceiving. In addition, there are 20% of cases where infertility is of unknown cause. This means that all fertility tests in the man and the woman are normal, but the couple has been trying to get pregnant for some time without success.
This does not mean that there is no reason, but that it is more complicated to find because it is not due to the usual causes of infertility.
