In the case of a pregnancy with a previous placenta, the gynecologist will act according to the severity, the weeks of gestation and whether there is vaginal bleeding.
In the mildest cases, the woman is recommended to rest and schedule the delivery around the 37th week so that there are no complications. On the other hand, if the woman has abundant bleeding that cannot be controlled, she must be hospitalized and perform blood transfusions. If there are risks to the fetus or mother, an emergency cesarean section will be performed.
