Necrozoospermia is a seminal disorder characterized by a high percentage of dead sperm. A man is diagnosed with necrozoospermia when the percentage of live sperm in semen is less than 58% or what is the same, if the percentage of dead sperm is greater than 42%.
There are several factors that can cause an increase in the number of dead sperm. Some of them are listed below:
- Periods of stress.
- Unhealthy lifestyle.
- Oncological treatments.
- Long period of sexual abstinence.
