AMH values are positively correlated with the number of antral follicles and, therefore, with the woman's ovarian reserve. In contrast, FSH levels vary inversely: the higher the AMH levels, the lower the FSH levels.
We see that with age, FSH levels increase and AMH levels and the number of antral follicles decrease. In other words, the ovarian reserve decreases.
